Spend the day with one of photography's great masters. Albert Watson has been named one of the 20 most influential photographers of all time. From portraits of Alfred Hitchcock and Steve Jobs, beauty shots of Kate Moss, to Las Vegas landscapes and still-life photographs of King Tutankhamun artifacts, Watson’s diversity and body of work are unparalleled. His striking photographs and stunning hand-made prints are featured in galleries and museums around the globe. Albert has received an Order of the British Empire from Queen Elizabeth II for his lifetime contribution to the art of photography, along with a Centenary Medal from the Royal Photographic Society, a Grammy Award, among other honors.

Selected participants bring a printed folio of work to share with Albert Watson. In an intimate setting,
Albert Watson will discuss the work in a review environment, allowing everyone to learn from Watson’s feedback and insight.

Albert Watson
Albert Watson was born in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1942. His expressive photographic portraits of famous celebrities, from Alfred Hitchcock to Steve Jobs, continue to dazzle. Albert’s photographs have appeared on the cover of Vogue more than 100 times worldwide and have been featured in countless other prominent publications, such as Rolling Stone, Time, and Harper’s Bazaar. For over 40 years, his striking photographs and stunning hand-made prints have been exhibited in galleries and museums around the globe. He was chosen as one of the twenty most influential photographers by Photo District News, and has won numerous honors, including a Grammy, a Lucie Award, the ANDY Award (thrice), and the Hasselblad Masters Award.

Who can participate

This MASTERCLASS is targeted toward those who have a developed body of work.
Participants do not have to be professional but should have an active practice.

Notes

Lunch with the artist is included within the price. 
Participants will receive one festival Passport Ticket.
On application and selection participants will be provided the full schedule.
Please note that this event will be conducted mainly in English but there will be ENG to JP language support.
