In 2017, with the aim of providing the opportunity for people around the world to learn the collotype printing technique, Benrido opened the Collotype Academy. At the Collotype Academy, participants will use a new process of plate-making developed from the traditional glass plate, which is nontoxic to the human body and the environment. We hope participants will enjoy learning to master this unique process while also learning new collotype techniques developed at Benrido.
