Together with a professional Soprano Opera singer, kids will experiment their voice and discover how every sound is made by a vibration. Kids will be also invited to build their own instrument that they will take home.

- Yumiko Tanimura (Soprano)
- Born in Kyoto, she graduated from Kyoto University of Arts with the first prize. After working for the Biwako Hall in Shiga, Japan, as the exclusive ensemble singer, she became the scholar for the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris (CNSMDP) from 2001. In the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris (CRR), she got the diploma of performing ancient music. She has the wider repertoire from baruque music to contemporary music. She sang with many famous musicians such as Michel Corboz, Jean-Claude Malgoire, and Jonas Vitaud in Europe. She is a renouned soloist in operas, recitals and religious music. She also appeared in TV and radio programs in France. The prize-winner of the Grand Prix of the Pierre Bernac Prize in Song at Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Concours International Nadia et Lili Boulanger in Paris, and Concours International de Musique de Chambre de Lyon as the first Japanese singer. She has been successful in many contests such as Concours Reine Elisabeth in Brussels, and her performance and the high sense for music has gained a reputation in various fields. She also received Kyoto Aoyama Music Awards, and Kyoto City Prize for Young Artists. She was the teacher in the department of vocal in Kyoto City University of Arts. Currently she aims the interaction of music cultures while her performance. She is the founder of Atelier Lyrique Kyoto and works both in Japan and France for connecting the Japanese and French music cultures.
