Benjamin Millepied has his world premiere solo show of black-and-white photos of dancers. Millepied is an internationally renowned dancer-choreographer-filmmaker, who established his own dance company in Los Angeles in 2012. As Millepied explains, choreogra-phy is an exploration of time and space, and the physical act of dancing opens up self-awareness and interest in others. The time and space taken over by Millepied in the historic Kurogura obi-weaverʼs storehouse expresses the relationship between people and the city, awakening all the sensations dormant inside us.
