OKINAWA was exposed to the horrors of war near the end of the Asia-Pacific War. Photograph negatives produced by the Osaka Asahi Shimbun for stories about Okinawa 1935 were recently discovered. Please consider the contemporary difficulties faced by Okinawa while thoroughly examining the creeping shadows of war which lingered over the daily lives of those living 10 years before the fires of war engulfed the island.
